Biography
I am a dermatologist genuinely passionate about my specialty. Dermatology includes more than 2,000 conditions, and its scale and diversity make my work dynamic, clinically rich, and requiring continuous development.
My practice combines experience in a major clinical center (MONIKI) and private medicine in Tbilisi. This path shaped a broad clinical outlook: from common inflammatory conditions to rare and complex cases that require dermatoscopy, biopsies, and a multidisciplinary approach.
For me, it is important not only to make a diagnosis but also to help a person understand their skin, navigate chronic conditions, and learn to live with them without reducing quality of life. I strive to ensure that every patient feels calm, informed, and confident throughout the entire treatment process. I explain in simple, accessible language what is happening with the skin and which steps truly help — without unnecessary prescriptions or confusing regimens.
I regularly participate in professional events, study international guidelines (EADV, AAD, UpToDate), and present at conferences. Participating in a scientific expedition dedicated to a rare skin pathology became a significant milestone that strengthened my clinical thinking in complex situations. I also undergo supervision with professors on atypical clinical cases — this allows me to maintain a high level of decision-making and discuss challenging scenarios with experts of international standing.
