Nina Vyatkina

I am a diagnostic ultrasound specialist and a radiologist with a Ph.D. in medical sciences. Currently, I specialize in diagnostic ultrasound and see both adults and children starting from 1 year of age.

I come from a family of doctors, spanning three generations. My parents met each other in a radiology department, and this profession has been close to my heart since childhood. I spent a lot of time at my parents' workplace, and I found it very fascinating. My artistic talent, honed through years of study at an art school and a photography academy, has greatly contributed to my profession. My attention to detail, cultivated over the years, plays a crucial role in my work in diagnostic imaging.

I completed my residency in radiology at an oncology institute, where I also engaged in research related to ovarian cancer staging. In 2017, I successfully defended my dissertation. I have worked in hospitals and clinics in Tomsk and St. Petersburg, including those specializing in oncology. I have pursued various advanced training courses in different aspects of ultrasound imaging.

My parents have always been exemplary doctors, approaching their work with dedication and compassion for their patients. I have inherited these qualities from them, and I always strive to perform my work with precision and responsibility.

My areas of expertise encompass ultrasound examinations of abdominal organs, the urinary system, the pelvic organs in both women and men, pregnancy monitoring, thyroid glands, breast imaging, soft tissues, joints, vessels, pleural cavities, lymph nodes, ultrasound assessments after cosmetic procedures and plastic surgeries, and ultrasound guidance for various puncture procedures in different locations
