Niko Giorgadze

Hello, I am Niko Giorgadze — an orthopedic traumatologist who received specialized training abroad. I graduated from Tbilisi State Medical University, after which I completed a clinical residency at the Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the Pirogov National Medical and Surgical Center in Moscow, where approximately 5,000 surgeries are performed annually.

I believe that there is no place for template thinking in traumatology and orthopedics. I follow international guidelines and the principles of evidence-based medicine, and every decision is made together with the patient. I always explain in detail why we perform certain tests, why surgery is needed (or why it can be avoided). My goal is not just to relieve pain today, but to preserve your quality of life for years to come. I explain complex things in simple terms, because an informed patient is a recovering patient.

My professional interests:

— osteoarthritis of large joints

— injuries of soft tissue structures of joints

— purulent and infectious complications in traumatology and orthopedics

— acute and chronic non-union fractures of the extremities

— conservative wound management using vacuum therapy

In addition to outpatient consultations, I also work in a hospital setting. If surgical treatment is required, I will stay with the patient throughout the entire hospitalization and postoperative recovery period.
