Biography

My name is Ekaterina, I am a psychiatrist working with both adults and children. My goal as a psychiatrist is to help reduce the severity of symptoms, restore a sense of stability in everyday life, and make a person’s condition more predictable and manageable. In my work, I rely on the principles of evidence-based medicine, modern international clinical guidelines, and a respectful, compassionate attitude toward each person’s lived experience.

I am engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of mental health conditions, including affective disorders (bipolar affective disorder, cyclothymia, recurrent depressive disorder, dysthymia), anxiety disorders (generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder), and obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders. I also work with schizophrenia spectrum disorders and personality disorders, including borderline personality disorder. A particular area of my professional interest is neurodiversity, including ADHD and autism spectrum conditions.

I regularly complete continuing professional development courses and constantly update my knowledge in order to offer my patients modern, scientifically grounded approaches to treatment.

A separate focus of my practice is the management of mental health conditions in pregnant and breastfeeding women, with careful selection of therapy and close attention to the safety of the child. It is important to me that each patient understands what is happening with their health and actively participates in treatment decisions — this is how a strong therapeutic alliance is built and how meaningful, lasting change occurs.
